Working directly with the Store Finance Manager to assist in managing business performance and commercial segment for the division with a focus on cost tracking, controlling and internal audit. Together with the team who supports remotely, he/she will provide strong backbone and act as a key business partner to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
I) BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS
• Partner with Store to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Process review within and cross locations for best practice and standardization within Oceania II) AUDIT, INTERNAL CONTROL & RISK MANAGEMENT
• Work closely with Store team to drive store process improvement, standardization and developing best in class practices
• Assist POS Exception Reports review with AGM Ops and Store Finance Manager and follow through action plans on risk detected.
• Assist Store Finance Manager in audit process
• Conduct ad-hoc audit on Store processes where necessary III) COST CONTROL MANAGEMENT
• Review all aspects of store expenses and identify cost drivers to manage costs within reasonable budget guideline and influence business performance together with collaboration of Store team.
• Constantly identify cost savings initiatives by enhancing procurement process and drive action plans to achieve the objectives IV) FINANCIAL PLANNING
• Full understanding of financials KPIs - sales, pax and spend and etc; prepare sales forecast, budget and strat plan
• Utilize historical data and intel from various sources to forecast sales trend to improve short and long term planning
• Analyse monthly P/L
• Division monthly financial reporting to management and manage effective communication store stakeholders
• Deep dive to understand variances vs budget/forecast and recommend action plans to manage financial target V) STORE ANALYSIS
• Support on daily sales reporting, monthly sales forecasting and trending
• Work closely with Merchandising Finance and Store team for Gross Margin Analysis
• Create and maintain consistent business reports and analysis to support business objectives, daily operations and needs as they develop
• Access sales and profitability on regular and ad-hoc promotions
• Prepare CER for corporate submission based on CER guidelines
• Review CER performance Key Business Partners 1. Store Operations – Store GMs, AGM Ops and AGM Sales 2. Global Store Finance teams, Controllers in Singapore, Merchandising finance 3. Regional Office Finance Director and HK Corporate FPA 4. Human Resources, Merchandising, Marketing, Logistics, etc.

Key Requirements:
University graduate in Finance or related discipline 4-6 years solid experience in business consulting, analysis and operational support in sizable companies; preferably in retail consumer products / fashion field and Practicing Accounting Firms Big 4 background will be of advantaged Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Practising Accountant (CPA)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge in SAP a plus; Power BI
• Strong analytical skills and in financial modelling
• Fluent in English with excellent presentation and communication skills
