The DFS Technology team is seeking a Product manager to drive product roadmap, lead and maintain logistics system implementations as well as integration to 3PL, 4PL providers globally. In the near term, the candidate will drive implementation of a new warehouse management solution (Blue Yonder / JDA) for all global distribution centers. They will do this by working collaboratively with business and IT partners to develop the global template and oversee its rollout to all relevant locations and across all channels. The role will entail oversight of partner selection, business analysis, solution design, implementation, and end-to-end service delivery. The manager, their fellow team members and technology partners will work with business leaders and product owners to drive the implementation roadmap in support of DFS’ overall supply chain vision and business objectives. The candidate should possess a balance of technical depth, business acumen, and strong communication skills. Candidate should be independent, results-oriented, eager to learn and with a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with DFS Logistics and Supply Chain teams to jointly determine strategic direction, roadmap for technology, and tactical implementation of advanced capabilities in warehouse management and other global supply chain solutions.
• Lead the implementation of Blue Yonder (JDA) Warehouse Management system and integration with SAP ECC Retail to all relevant DFS global locations.
• Drive 3PL, 4PL integration design and development for existing and new business operations
• Work with business leaders to define options, risks, costs, benefits, and impacts on products, processes, and strategy.
• Facilitate solutions, define deliverables, and conduct structured design reviews with technical development teams to ensure consistent, well-integrated solutions.
• Analyze business needs, define detailed requirements, and validate potential solutions with the business, following IT standards and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with business leaders and teams from across the DFS organization.
• Engage with DFS IT team to DFS-operated distribution centers’ business priorities and ensure effective deployment, support and maintenance of new capabilities and enhancements.
• Partner with product owners, tech leads, technology partners and cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet the needs of the enterprise.
• Engage with external partners to leverage their expertise and resources to maintain and advance systems and technologies.
• Contribute to the development of technical or business process expertise across the organization by sharing information with teammates and business partners.
• Research and evaluate best practices and emerging technology, industry, and market trends to drive optimization of delivered solutions.
• Engage in product, technology, and vendor evaluations and benchmarking activities.
• Participate actively in industry user groups, proactively seeking opportunities for innovation in the areas of logistics, supply chain, fulfillment, and warehouse management.
• Successful candidates will possess technology implementation and service delivery experience in many of the following business process areas for retail, eCommerce, and wholesale channels: •Warehouse management •3PL integration and service delivery •Purchase order management •eCommerce fulfillment •Replenishment & allocation •Product master data management •Regulatory and trade compliance •Inventory management
• Successful candidates: •Will have experience leading diverse teams composed of direct, indirect, and external members. •Will have experience developing and managing budgets at the domain, program, and project level of both capital and operational nature. •Will have experience leading support for production systems with emphasis on service delivery, problem management, and the effective mitigation of technology obsolescence. •Will have experience working in a multi-vendor environment. •Will have experience working with and managing overseas teams.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 5-7 years of experience in application analysis, development, configuration, implementation, and support of Logistics and Supply Chain systems
• Professional / technology certification is desirable Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
• 2-4 years of functional experience with design, configuration, implementation, and support of WMS, supply chain logistics and inventory control processes that support a global distribution center network.
• Hands-on functional and technical experience in warehouse management systems (e.g. JDA/Blue Yonder, RedPrairie, Manhattan, SAP, etc)
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes (i.e., order management, logistics, manufacturing, supply/demand planning, and procurement)
• ERP (e.g., SAP ECC, S4 HANA)
• Vendor management
• Stakeholder communications and management
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and deliver quality work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience within the Retail industry is preferred.
• Functional understanding of standard interfaces built upon EDI, XML, API and IDOC transactions
• Experience with Agile or PMP methodology
