The Analyst works directly with the Finance Manager (Store Finance) to support the division in managing business performance and commercial segment for the division.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning
• Full understanding of financials KPIs - sales, pax and spend and etc; prepare sales forecast, budget and strat plan
• Utilize historical data and sources of information from various stakeholders to forecast sales trend to improve short-term and long-term planning
• Analyse monthly P/L
• Division monthly financial reporting to management and manage effective communication to store stakeholders
• Deep dive to understand variances vs budget/forecast and recommend action plans to manage financial target
• Consolidate Asia South financials for budget/forecast or financial planning purpose 2. Store Analysis
• Support on daily sales reporting, monthly sales forecasting and trending
• Work closely with Merchant Finance and Store team for Gross Margin Analysis
• Create and maintain consistent business reports and analysis to support business objectives, daily operations and needs as they develop
• Access sales and profitability on regular and ad-hoc promotions
• Prepare Capital Expenditure Request (CER) for Corporate submission based on CER guidelines
• Review CER performance 3. Business Analyst Process Standardization
• Champion reporting change and standardization for business purpose using the most relevant reporting tools 4. Audit, Internal Control & Risk Management
• Assist Point-Of-Sale Exception Reports review with Internal Control Manager and follow through action plans on risk detected.
• Assist Internal Control Manager in audit process
• Conduct ad-hoc audit on Store processes Closing Date: 22 Oct 21

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related disciplines
• Minimum 3 -4 years of experience in accounting and business reporting and analysis experience in a retail environment
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge in SAP, Power BI and MicroStrategy would be an advantage
• Self-starter and highly motivated
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Demonstrate strong business acumen for business analytics purpose
• Attention to detail
• Team player
