Job Description

Responsible for ensuring compliance in all HR areas including Local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to workplace safety, Wage & Salary Administration. Ensure timely compliance in reporting Local and other statutory requirements. Implements company and HR policies and oversees HR activities such as employment, compensation, benefits and employee services for the office. This position is responsible for human resources functions and basic administrative duties, recruitment support, on-boarding, benefit and staff’s compensation administration, learning and development and employee activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fully knowledgeable in local laws and regulations and ensures total compliance in line with company policies and procedures
• Interprets and implements company policies and ensures consistent application of policies and procedures
• Responsible for pre-employment processing; conducts background investigations etc.
• Responsible for new employee in-processing, including preparing offer letters, employee files, and new hire paperwork as well as accurately maintaining all changes to employee information
• Assist with new employee onboarding workshops, as needed
• Coordinate the successful execution of employee events including DFS Stars, long service awards, holiday party, etc.
• Maintain employee files and all related documentation in full compliance with company, and government requirements
• Assist in administering employee benefits programs including new employee health benefits orientation and enrollment, annual open enrollment, retirement plan, retiree program and coordinates local wellness events
• Process monthly payroll, Individual tax reporting and mandatory benefits such as social insurance and other governmental reporting requests
• Manage special projects as assigned
• Support senior managers on other administration affairs

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of human resources and administration experience (or equivalent)
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, bilingual a plus
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
• Well know local labor relative rules & regulations
