Job Description

This role will assist the Graphic Department with graphic production and ensure color correctness and quality control. You will work with the Visual Managers, Promotions Manager, Project Manager and Store General Managers to achieve graphic needs for promotions, events, and seasonal umbrellas.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create layouts for signs utilizing Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop following corporate guidelines for in-house print production as well as for external print vendors.
• Create layouts for video slides using InDesign and light video editing using Adobe Premiere.
• Works with the Senior Graphics Designer for direction, approvals and completion timelines.
• Ensures the DFS brand logo and image is protected and used appropriately as well as all Brand identity logos and marketing.
• Maintains DFS graphic standards and guidelines.
• Position may occasionally require use of power saw, standing for extended periods, and some lifting of heavy (25-35 lbs.) or oversized material (paper rolls and foam board).

Key Requirements:
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Knowledge of graphic design computer programs and software, including proficiency in Indesign and Photoshop
• Knowledge of graphic materials and applications
• Problem solving abilities

• Eye for detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and open to new thinking, able to give and take creative direction
