Job Description

Build the DFS Network into a fully functioning media agency. Leverage our holistic marketing initiatives with our brands & potential external partners, to generate incremental revenue streams for the business. Enabling DFS to leverage all our consumer touch points, including innovating new opportunities. Buying and planning DFS media across the store network for core campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing & monetizing the media & marketing assets and sites across the global store network in order to reach incremental revenue targets.
• Work closely with the category marketing & merchant teams to unlock brand/vendor potential
• Drive the visual asset tool (VAMS) across the business to driving revenue and to managing targets across a number of stakeholders
• Work closely with the category marketing teams to unlock brand/vendor potential including presenting to key brand partners.
• Building a solid revenue stream from external partnerships that have the ability to leverage our network and consumer base.
• Manage all vendor and external partners’ expectations by always managing the DFS creative integrity & brand equity in our approach.
• Show leadership and influence whilst managing key stakeholders across merchants, Marketing, VM and Creative.
• Drive a Media and campaign planning mindset in the business and be able to understand and report back to brands media centric KPI’s (impressions, reach, frequency, Cost per customer, Cost Per Mil, engagements etc)
• Establish this new role as part of the corporate marketing department to unveil the untapped marketing potential with our brand & external partners
• Proactively communicate the DFS brand message and marketing strategy to the brands
• Derive innovative, holistic initiatives with the brands to leverage the DFS brand positioning: Partner with the brands to develop marketing initiatives that are relevant to our consumers and support sales
• Work with the category marketing team to establish close relationships with the marketing teams of our brands when needed.
• Monitor execution of marketing activities according to brand guidelines (marketing functions)
• Liaise with all marketing center of excellence to maximize the impact of our brand partners
• Reporting / feedback loop to the brands on marketing activities
• Work with Store / Merchandising / Marketing teams on Pop Up calendar and activation

• Proven experience in marketing and/or Media
• Knowledge in all facets of marketing
• Media planning and buying experience (OOH, digital and print)
• Proven experience in building and maintaining sensitive relationships
• At least 10 years of experience
• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Experience in working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
