Job Description

Kicked off in 2015, RTR (Reimagining Travel Retail) is our digital transformation initiative at DFS to digitalize the way DFS interacts with customers, travel partners and brands. The vision is to redefine luxury travel retail by offering a seamless data-driven omni-channel experience. This position is responsible for RTR’s Program Management Office (PMO), and is accountable for RTR strategy’s execution, organizational governance, and change management, within RTR’s scope. This also includes being the business lead managing the global rollout of RTR. The role will heavily rely on strong influencing and stakeholder engagement to achieve the strategic outcomes of the programs and overall transformation within the organization. The ideal candidate is driven senior digital expert who is proficient with change management, marketing & e-commerce technology, analytics and has excellent project management skills. We are looking for self-starters who can work in a rapidly changing industry, thrive through ambiguity, and demonstrate problem-solving leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensures RTR execution
• Manage the successful rollout and implementation of digital transformation (RTR) initiatives, ranging from development of strategic roadmaps to day-to-day project management of efforts of complex programs.
• Drive business participation and their ownership in Digital Transformation projects and promote project objectives, success of project delivery and business adoption.
• Engage leadership teams and appropriate business partners for resources, including IT project managers, digital, e-commerce and regional teams to ensure project operates smoothly against the organization vision and priorities.
• Create and implement change management steps that minimize stakeholder resistance and maximize engagement.
• Identifies implementation challenges and issues quickly and mobilizes key decision makers to identify solutions.
• Obtain buy in from business stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Manage and support internal communications, town halls, off sites, meetings. 2. Organizational governance
• Provide transparent and accurate project status reports all along the different project phases.
• Determine project scope, risk, schedule, budget, change requests, create and implement project plans, identify key milestones, dependencies, and resources.
• Ensure project timelines and business resource requirements are appropriately planned with IT, digital and e-commerce teams.
• Participate in internal PMO programs including post project reviews, internal process initiatives and ongoing improvement practices.
• Acts as a mediator for cross-functional / cross-business units conflicts at various project phases.
• Provide outstanding communication to all stakeholders, including senior management about strategies, plans, forecasts and results.
• Develop and maintain and a high performing and collaborative team culture with high associate engagement. 3. Analysis
• Assist in monthly/quarterly aggregate reports; analyze data and identify areas of opportunity to recommend move-forward strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8-15 years of project/program management office role, ideally within retail, CRM, e-commerce, digital transformation scopes
• Regional/Global scope
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Comfortable to work in a cross-cultural environment with diversity of backgrounds and styles.
• Ability to build strong relationships with different teams, communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, executives, chiefs and internal business partners.
