DFS Data Team is marketing excellence, and by that we mean world class digital marketing. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and drive new initiatives that directly contribute to incremental revenue. Ideally the candidate has a strategic mindset and strong data acumen and feels comfortable with leading change initiatives that involve new technology practices and patterns. This role will be the in-house expert in producing and presenting advanced analytical and reporting output that is easy to understand with a focus on actions based on business questions and an ability to train junior business analyst to produce insightful reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Based on your own basic data skills (SQL, Python Pandas, R) you will produce advanced data analysis, provide original & strategic insights and recommendations to drive actions for marketing teams and others company stakeholders
• Create clear, actionable reports/dashboards/presentations based on data assets built & data visualization:
• Directly influence project outcomes by getting hands-on with large datasets to set templates, standards and norms for teams to follow meaning wrangle data in multiple formats from a variety of systems, this includes extracting, sorting, merging, aggregating, filtering large datasets (over 10 million rows)
• Engage with various teams to produce enhance prototype reports and data visualization to answer new business questions using any tools at your disposal
• Lead project initiatives around improvement of ROI and consumer base reporting and automation by measuring success both quantitatively and qualitatively for all campaign initiatives, with a preference to automate and standardize ROI reporting across the department
• Become a Reporting Expert and Leader
• Lead day-to-day activities and project delivery with an agile mindset
• Teach and guide peers, and seniors, based on past success to elevate department competencies
• Present with enthusiasm and business acumen what story data is telling us about the business i to the marketing team and the broader audience
• Be a data ambassador to the wider organization
• Manage change in a multi-cultural environment, using influence, persuasiveness and exemplifying the benefits of best practices
• Build strong relationships and ties with other departments in which we depend on for successful project execution, particularly our technology partners

• With technical experience:
• Experience with reporting and controls (ROI, Customer profiling ….)
• Experience with advanced modelling tools this could include Sql (intermediate skills mandatory) and basic Python, R functions (or other similar language) for data Analysis, beginner skills and interest to improve based on active business needs
• Experience with visualization tools such as power-bi, MicroStrategy or similar toolsets
