Job Description


• Custodian of brand vision and positioning in the division.
• Ambassador of DFS marketing strategy and initiatives.
• Business partner of store leaders by providing marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Planning
• Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to grow DFS market share.
• Leverage global activation calendar to plan, maintain and control local marketing calendar covering: •Digital marketing activities •Events •Media/PR •Partnerships •Promotions & Activations
• Quality control all divisional consumer facing and internal marketing collateral and communication efforts to reinforce the DFS brand message
• Translate global marketing activities and adapt where necessary and directed to local needs
• Build relationship, develop sales plans and commission scheme with travel industry partners, including hotels, airlines, tourism board, travel agents. Lead Generation/Pre-departure Marketing
• Propose new collaborations and drive a rich portfolio of external promotional partners, relevant to our premium travel and shopping experience.
• Partner closely with Corporate Marketing, Japan, & China, marketing offices to build pre-departure awareness and traffic-driving strategies and initiatives for core customer group.
• Drive traffic and conversion via omni-channel experience In-Market and In-Store Activations & Communications
• Drive innovative concept and world-class execution in retail activation.
• Develop media strategy and align with in-store VM calendar to deliver consistent messaging through out the entire in-market customer journey. Analytics and KPIs
• Analyze and report on campaign results and KPIs, highlighting successes, trends and opportunities. Maintain formal process to update and share findings with marketing teams and other stakeholders
• Responsible for accurate monthly visit and sales reports to travel agents to review and maximize each travel agent’s performance; review Travel Agent Promotional Allowance (TAPA) payments
• Manage, plan and control division marketing budget bottom-up
• Understand and monitor the competitive landscape and provide insight and recommendations to drive the program business forward as best in class

Key Requirements:

• BA in Business, Marketing or Commerce, MBA is a plus
• 8+ years in consumer-focused marketing area: Fashion, FMCG, Beauty, Retail or Luxury industry
• Fluency in English language and other language(s) as required by location
• Marketing skills – omnichannel, ecommerce, media planning, partnership development
• Strong leadership skills, sharp, independent, and initiatives, able to seize opportunities and take action
• Proficiency in MS Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), familiarity with social media
