Job Description

The Business Intelligence Senior Manager will join the BI competency center on data reporting and data exploration. He/she will represent the BI practice team from Singapore, to understand the user’s functional needs, and to provide technical and functional leadership on the methodologies and tools. The candidate should have strong ability to identify opportunities, issues and barriers to enhance the business process innovation. This role will act as liaison between the Merchandising, Store Operations, and Marketing functions in Hong Kong and the Technology team in Singapore. He/she will provide assistance to other teams with BI needs, work with key business stakeholders to conceptualize and facilitate design for end user reporting, KPI's and analytics capability.

Key Responsibilities:
Accountabilities: - Change management (organization, adoption, training strategy, communication) - Lead BI engagements on Self-Service analytics, BI in the Cloud enablement - Identify opportunities to exploit and enhance BI landscape and data integration capabilities - Provide analytical support to the business community regarding reporting and data integrity - Collaborates with the business functions to define new or enhanced processes - Create awareness of data in Enterprise Data Warehouse and find ways to increase value of BI across functions - Role of BI Trainer on demand and follow up with third level support - Analyze and lead technical and application problem resolution - Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs - Adapt methodology to the variety of projects: agile, waterfall, innovation, in-house or outsourced Collaborates on: - Assist with Stakeholder Management across all domains - Work with Respective Stakeholders to support Business Cases for new Initiatives - Enforce IT Governance and help build Demand pipeline - Work with respective BI Leads to pre-empt them for upcoming Initiatives and BI Scope - Provide support when needed, to BI leads during Inception , Requirements Gathering, Change Management, Training etc - IT involvement into business process improvement initiatives where data is recognized as key enabler - Work with Support Team for any key Incidents or Business escalations - Help design roadmap for Business Intelligence, Big data and Enterprise Data Governance Stakeholder Management: - Domain IT Product Managers and Analysts - BI governance Stakeholders across product domains - Product Owners, Data stewards and Business Analysts (Stores, Merchandising, Supply Chain, CRM and Digital) as a subject matter expert on BI systems and data - Extended IT teams – Vendors and Partners across Hong-Kong, Singapore and offshore teams

Key Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7-12 years of experience in customer software development
• Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
• Has managed multiple large Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Projects
• Exposure in managing external vendors, ensuring that SLA is being adhered to
• Has good Retail Domain Knowledge
• Self-motivated, Independent Lead
• Fluency in English language
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact with C-level
• Self-Organized and Independent in ways of working
• Experience in Business Analysis & Planning
• Experience in Change management and training
• Knowledge of Agile framework like SCRUM, writing of user stories
• Experience in managing full cycles of BI projects
• B2C CG domain experience is a must, Retail domain knowledge preferred
