DFS Group Limited, the world's leading luxury retailer (part of LVMH group), is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager within the Fashion Icon Brand merchandising team in Hong Kong, starting in Q2 2021. The team is responsible for the Fashion Luxury brands which are managed under a concession model in DFS. This includes international top Tier brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior or Prada across various Asian markets. The Sr Assistant manager is fully involved in all the aspects of DFS Global Icon brands portfolio: financials, performance analysis, negotiation, pitching, marketing, business development projects and legal. Working within this brand portfolio will provide a great opportunity to be involved and exposed to many aspects of Luxury retail in a very international environment with great exposure to APAC market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financials, reporting and analysis Ownership of Financials and reporting for the portfolio - Lead the elaboration of key financials milestones: Strat Plan, Budget and Forecast process - Maintain the team database and regular reports on a weekly/monthly basis and issue performance reports for management Analysis and financial simulation to support brand meetings and negotiation - Drive detailed analysis to assess Icon brand performance and identify opportunities to drive sales by location (benchmark comp brands, fashion performance, nationality mix, product offer, pricing strategy …) - Run P&L simulations and scenarios to support the rental negotiations with brand partners - Actively follow our brand business through store visits, brand meetings, research to understand and compile qualitative insights on product offer, seasonal newness and brand strategy for top management
• Internal and External daily brand management Marketing - Pitch the brands on local marketing initiatives (media amplification, brand event, promotion activities, visibility opportunities, pop up activation …) and coordinate implementation with Marketing and local operations - Ensure close and continuous contact with DFS CRM team to maximize opportunities with VIP clients through in-store activations, high end / exclusive product allocation, special treats for top members, VVIP product requests, 1 one 1 appointments… Business Development Projects - Assess financial feasibility through P&L simulation for new concession business or temporary activation - Support MM along pitching process for new opportunities being for new stores or new brands addition to the portfolio - Follow up with Store design on active project (new store, renovation) from approval to completion of works Legal - Coordinate and drive the creation of legal documents (Sublease agreement) between DFS Legal department, Operations, Finance teams and Brand partner from DRAFT to signature

Key Requirements:
Expected competencies: - Appetence for Luxury and Fashion industry - Strong interpersonal skills, with a special sensitivity to work in a multi- cultural environment - Able to clearly articulate concepts and communicate across organizations at all levels - Organization and prioritizing skills - Accurate with numbers and familiar with Key financial principles - Autonomous and proactive - Fully proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word - Fluent in English, oral and written Below characteristics will be appreciated: - Previous experience in business analysis/business strategy/consulting and/or, - Previous experience in retail or merchandising functions and/or, - Previous experience in a Fashion/Luxury brands - Understanding of Fashion industry and trends - International profile / Previous experience in Asia
