Job Description

Reward Specialist is a member of the Global Reward & Mobility team based in Hong Kong. The team is responsible for working to develop and implement Total Reward policies and frameworks that directly support the achievement of the overall Business and HR Strategies across DFS Group. Total Reward includes: base salary, short and long-term incentives, benefits, recognition and mobility.

Reporting to the Reward Manager, Executive Remuneration, the main duties will be to provide specialist support to the Global Reward team by analysing, modelling and reconciling data from multiple sources. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and data skills with experience of interpreting and producing high quality accurate data.

This is an opportunity for either a recent graduate with a strong statistics or econometrics background or someone with experience in an analytical role looking to build a career in Reward.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide analysis and insights from various data sources to support development of Reward strategy and initiatives
• Support the benchmarking of DFS’ reward practices against appropriate comparators
• Collect data and develop insights from external benchmarking and internal practices
• Reporting, analysis and presentation activities in support of Global Reward initiatives
• Support the communication of Reward policies and practices
• Work with Reward Manager and HR teams to plan and implement the annual pay & bonus cycle
• Support the planning & delivery of specific Reward projects such as reviews of the Group grade structure, benefit programmes and incentive plans

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines
• Ideally 1 – 3 years’ experience in consulting industry, reward related function or similar analytical role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• A self-starter who is able to work with ambiguity
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel. Basic understanding of data visualisation tools (such as Tableau) is a plus
• Ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds
• Fluency in English language and other language(s) as required by location
