Job Description

The incumbent is responsible to work cross functionally to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that will optimize the overall category while reducing total costs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Be a central point of expertise and knowledge for Marketing purchases such as print management, media agencies, gifts & purchases, visual merchandising POS displays, etc.
• Develop and consistently execute category strategies with Marketing team.
• Develop sourcing strategies and category management strategies based on market intelligence gathered and Marketing team requirement.
• Oversee RFI, RFP contract development, review processes, and utilize appropriate support tools to enhance sustainable results.
• Negotiate and manage key supplier relationships and global supply contracts.
• Maintain regular contact with current suppliers and resolve ongoing issues as needed.
• Monitor category purchasing reports and ensure compliance with appropriate established policies and procedures on a continuous basis.
• Identify and implement streamlined Marketing purchasing processes and supporting tools.
• Monitors performance of supplier (s) against agreed performance criteria.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management
• Min. 2 years procurement experience in Asia Pacific Role
• Diversified background with exposure to and/or experience in Print Management, Digital, Media, visual merchandising point of sales display sourcing, etc.
• Experience with high-value, high-volume purchasing and contract management experience across a range of services and commodities
• Experience with developing and implementing successful cost saving initiatives
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Possesses a broad knowledge of purchasing skills and sources for Marketing category including shopping bags, uniform, print management, marketing, visual merchandising point of sales display, large format printing, etc.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills, in variety of contexts.
• Good understanding of sourcing techniques, sourcing strategies and negotiation strategies.
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in the organization.
