Job Description

The Marketing Finance Director will lead the global marketing team along with EVP Marketing. The incumbent will be responsible to develop, manage, monitor, and control both the global and divisional marketing budget for all marketing nodes and execute plans in accordance with companywide strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and control marketing plan/budget and expenditure in close collaboration with Head of Marketing, the corporate marketing team, divisional store teams, and all finance functional teams.
• Develop enterprise strategy and plan
• Manage Consumer Marketing & Branding - Corporate expenditure
• Manage Consumer Marketing & Branding - Marketing expenditure including: - Branding and Creative - Visual Merchandising (Corporate and Divisional) - Internal and Corporate Communications, CSR - PR and Events - Digital Marketing - Category Marketing - Retail Marketing (Corporate and Divisional) - CRM / Client Services (Corporate and Divisional)
• Manage Travel Industry Marketing (Corporate and Divisional)
• Asia Marketing offices in China, Japan, and Korea
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop mechanics for marketing programs tailoring to the need of each division at different business climates.

• Define and analyze effectiveness of marketing programs via financial and non-financial KPI’s
• Monitor marketing expenditure against ROI attributing to company wide sales, margin traffic, and conversion
• Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures for marketing team; ensure compliance to company policies, accounting treatments, systems, and auditing standards
• Drive optimization of marketing structure and organization, focused on data-centric solutions to allow for reduction of cost, while optimizing results.
• Assist and roll out strategic projects
• Develop and implement controlled environment for all marketing activities against potential risks (e.g., Data Privacy, licensing/copyright of marketing material)
• Advise President of Consumer Marketing and Branding on emergent issues arising from the execution of budgeting related activities

• At least 7-10 years of experience
• Experience in working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities
• Bachelor’s university degree of accounting or equivalent, MBA beneficial
• Fluent in written and spoken English
