Job Description

DFS has embarked on a Transformational Journey into a 21st century travel retail organization. “Today, technology is fueling a retail revolution, transforming the way our customers shop and the way we serve them.” As such, we are looking for a Network Engineering Manager to join us to build a state of the art Infrastructure Network to support our ambition of becoming a world-class travel retailer. He or she should have world class experience, is a talented expert with a passion to succeed and help DFS in this technological transformational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Operation Management
• Work closely with the Network & Telecommunication Senior Manager to define the long-term network strategy and establish the roadmaps
• Managed service providers on monitoring network and fine tuning for optimal performance, network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation
• Deploy new network services worldwide
• Act as a single point of contact for all network related operations issues within DFS and working with the service providers for problem resolution and root cause analysis.
• A key infrastructure member with a crucial responsibility to recover the network during a disaster as well as participate actively in yearly DR exercise. Project Management
• Participate in SMART Store infrastructure initiatives
• Lead Global/Regional network projects Vendor Management
• Manage DFS global WAN partners (AT&T), MAN (Hong-Kong, Hawaii) and hybrid cloud connectivity (e.g., AWS, Aliyun, Azure, Private Cloud, etc.) Ensure seamless service delivery to meet business and IT service needs
• Conduct periodic performance and KPI reviews with DFS partners based on agreed contractual terms
• Keep a solid working relationship with vendors and manage escalations as required Other Areas
• Other tasks as assigned and a willingness to work over time
• Capable of working under pressure and multitasking
• Travel might be required

Key Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field
• Minimum for 3 years of experience in Network Engineering
• Minimum CCNA certified or equivalent level of knowledge
