Job Description

Global Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the management of the Company’s global strategy and vision for talent acquisition that enables DFS to meet its key business objectives through its people. The Global Talent Acquisition Manager manages all aspects of talent acquisition for recruiting and onboarding world-class diverse talent to fill professional, technical, administrative, and graduate entry positions for DFS globally. This position is part of the Talent Acquisition Centre of Expertise. It has no direct reports and will work closely with 10 plus locally based recruiters. The position also manages the relationship with key recruitment vendors and serves as the global process owner for the applicant tracking system and on-boarding systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Functional Expertise  Manage and support implementation of candidate sourcing and screening strategies utilizing internet postings, internal posting process, employee referrals, advertisements, retained search firms, direct recruiting and the use of SuccessFactor applicant tracking tool.  Design, plan and support implementation of Onboarding and Employer Branding initiatives,  Serve as process expert in developing talent acquisition systems that align with business needs.  Identify and implement best practices in sourcing to increase the quality of hires while reducing cycle time and cost.  Provide knowledge and train to locally based recruiters in the latest sourcing strategies.  Drive Alignment of talent acquisition strategies and activities with HR planning and development efforts for each DFS business areas.  Develop and implements specific diversity sourcing and recruiting strategies in support of business needs.  Track and report key talent acquisition organizational performance metrics. Leadership/Change Management  In-directly lead and develop recruiter deployed in local countries / region. Interpersonal  Manages vendor relationships in areas related to talent acquisition such as advertising firms, search firms, pre-employment screening, selection tools etc.  Measure and assess customer satisfaction with functional group and develop plans to continuously improve the customer experience including new hires, hiring managers, talent management community).  Balance the needs and requests of individual businesses with the standards set across the company. Business  Manage employment-branding strategy in partnership with Communications function to affirm company image in the talent marketplace.  Manage the process for translation of business problems in a talent acquisition context and participate in developing creative solutions.  Identifies business issues related to talent acquisition and develops plans to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.

Key Requirements:
 5 to 10 years experience in a MNC environment.  5+ years of experience managing talent acquisition process in a corporate or outsourced environment.  3-5 years of proven managerial skills.  Possess expert knowledge of labor markets, competitive sourcing practices and labor trends.  Prior experience in recruitment management is preferred and should possess strong organization skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.  Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to participate effectively in a team environment.  Individual must have the ability to interact with all levels of employees throughout the company.  Requires tolerance for ambiguity, excellent judgment and influence skills.  Requires knowledge of leading edge sourcing and recruiting technologies.  Requires quantitative measurement skills and exposure to continuous improvement methodologies.  Multinational/multicultural experience.  Fluency in English language is crucial, other languages will be a plus.
