Job Description

The Business Process and Transformation team sits within merchandising and supply chain department and provides to support to systems implementation and enhancements. As such we are looking to expand the team with a manager in charge of all logistics and supply chain projects. The Manager, Business Process and Transformation will lead all projects within these fields and work in collaboration with business, IT and technology partner to deliver solutions that fits business requirements. The projects to be worked on can be transport or warehousing related, all with the goal to automate process and bring increase operational visibility of the company. Aside from the projects, the manager will own any system implemented and will be the first point of contact for user support on these systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Logistics / Supply Chain Project Management
• Gather requirements from business partners for the project (direct and indirect stakeholders)
• Support solution design in sandbox with technology partners
• Gate keeper of interfaces and expected impacts on downstream impacts, making sure the solution fits in DFS system landscape
• Test solution and confirm it follows expected results
• Participate in the training material documentation
• Track budget and timeline of the project (combined responsibility with IT) System Ownership
• For any new system implemented, be the first point of contact for troubleshooting
• Analyze the solution and propose enhancements
• Document system glossary and training material if required Projects Being Explored
• Below are some projects currently being discussed that the manager would have the charge of if the budgets are approved
• Implementation of a control tower: setting a 4PL operation for our international shipments
• Systems integrations between the operator and DFS to provide shipment tracking and volumetric information as well as automation of all current manual process
• Freight invoicing automation
• Setting up SOPs with our vendors for shipment handling
• Replacement of WMS - DFS has its logistics operations in-house and is looking to implement JDA WMS. Business Process within warehouse to be reviewed and engineered based on JDA standard solution
• Adhoc projects - Ranging from regulatory to operational masterdata, the manager can support in various projects to make sure consistency between all solutions

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain, warehousing background is a plus
• Exposure to projects and change management
• Background in IT can be considered if its within Supply Chain
• Multi system knowledge (WMS, ERP and data repository)
