Job Description

The key objective of this role is to deliver full implementation of the new TXT Planning and Replenishment systems and drive smooth adoption by the business user community. He / She will work closely with the Senior Manager of Merchandise Transformation in maximizing the intended benefits and efficiencies of the new systems, while collaborating closely with Merchandise Planning, Demand Planning and R&A teams in identifying opportunities for system enhancements. The candidate is expected to actively lead or participate in routine diagnosis of business user challenges, communication with vendor on business requirements, and delivery of technical & process solutions. He / She will also be a key member in the planning and development of future business releases as the current ones stabilize and mature.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
• Identify system performance gaps and enhancement opportunities by regularly communicating with Demand Planning, R&A and Merchandise Planning Teams
• Maintain system issue logs, understand business requirements, and drive resolution with vendor
• Lead end-to-end testing of system fixes and enhancements with close collaboration with Merchandising, Planning, Demand Planning, R&A, DFS IT and vendor partners
• Facilitate weekly Project Management Office (PMO) meetings with DFS Technology & Business leaders, as well as the vendor group
• Partner with Merch System Training Manager in developing / enhancing Training plans & materials, for both newcomers and existing staff (i.e. refresher workshops)
• Act as the first point of contact for business users on immediate needs for trouble-shooting
• Support regular review of system effectiveness through technical performance benchmarking (for example – system response time) and business analysis of system output (for example – accuracy of demand forecasts, order proposals, etc). Business Process
• Facilitate integration of new business processes (or process changes) with new system roll-out to ensure maximized efficiency in business activities (for example – Promotion planning)
• Streamline user reporting process of system related issues to drive fact-based analyses and sustainable resolution
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in advising system capabilities and constraints when consulted by Business

Key Requirements:

• University Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Min. 5 years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Replenishment & Allocation, Merchandise Operations. Combined experience a plus.
• Experience with system or new process implementation
• PMP qualification or Project Management experience a plus
• Fluency in English language mandatory
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel mandatory
• Business Acumen
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage up and across organization
