Job Description

The Inventory Control Specialist prepares and manages stock counts to maintain an accurate stock level within the location. They monitor all aspects of inventory processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive, assist and manage stock takes and counts
• Assist with annual inventory counts including pre-counts
• Maintain and provide clearance of invalid SKUs
• Follow up on Inventory accuracy systems and procedures,
• Work with Logistics and HNDF to improve integrity of data in the systems in order to reduce shipment time and potential risk of ordering errors.
• Retail Price check and MNZ invoice unit cost check
• Notify the promotion price to partner.
• Work with DFS merchandising and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory movement.
• Provide and present synthetic updates on inventory situation to management.
• Oversee maintenance of vendor UPC barcodes
• Monitor outstanding shipment acknowledgement, follow up with Logistics team to ensure completion of booking process
• Manage pre-order release function and review outstanding pre-orders

Key Requirements:
• College degree or equivalent
• 2-3 years inventory or stock control experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications
• Fluency in English language
• Accuracy and attention to detail and number
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with personnel at various levels
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Function as a resourceful and proactive team member
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills
• Must possess a positive attitude
