Job Description

The Inventory Control Coordinator prepares and manages stock counts to maintain an accurate stock level within the store. They monitor all aspects of inventory processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute physical stock count of store inventory
• Manage the hardware required for stock counts & stocktakes, along with uploading the data into MCS
• Reconciliation of Store inventory counts - analytical as well as systemic in MCS
• Ensure transfer cut-off dates are adhered to
• Investigation of stock discrepancies and reporting across the store and warehouse
• Control manual transfer forms, write-off forms, delivery discrepancy report. System input of location-to- location transfers
• Liaise with store operations and R&A teams on day to day inventory discrepancies and update MCS, including negative stocks management, corrections and reporting
• Audit, process, sort, count and transfer out merchandise for pending Reverse Logistics (RL) and Inter-Division Transfers (IDT)
• Repairs Inventory management for physical and systems goods which are Stock on hand items (this excludes sold items & customer repairs)
• Review and action outstanding Inter-departmental transfers
• Maintain and provide clearance of invalid SKUs
• Systems inventory adjustments for stock write offs/ins, Return to vendor shipments or Returns to warehouses
• Adjust inventory in the system for Aged inventory, Damaged inventory, or non moving inventory
• Track and report Gift with purchase ( GWPs) items
• Manage "special orders" including staff purchases
• Manage inventory movements required for eTR transactions
• Follow up on Inventory accuracy systems and procedures, i.e. GWPs, promotions
• Provide consistent feedback on ways to streamline systems currently in place
• Verify and distribute processing documents to WSSC
• Process Direct Store Delivery (DSD and EDI) shipments received at the stores and warehouse (cross-dock)
• Review, maintain and process Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) shipments; balance warehouse inventory regularly
• Consignment Reporting
• Monitor and action Defective Tools Report Location specific requirements, if applicable:
• Manage all Spirit/Wine/Tobacco (SWT) breakages and other Duty Free Damages
• Process write-offs & manage Did Not Turn Up items (DNTUs)
• Oversee maintenance of vendor UPC barcodes
• Monitor outstanding shipment acknowledgement, follow up with Logistics team to ensure completion of booking process
• Forecast and ordering of Security Tamper-Evident Bags (STEBs)
• Manage pre-order release function and review outstanding pre-orders

Key Requirements:
Educational Requirements
• Minimum High School Diploma or Secondary School Work Experience
• 2-3 years inventory or stock control experience Licenses / Certifications Critical knowledge & skills including tools, software applications, language, etc.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong Excel or Access and other Office application skills
• Leadership skills and willing to make decisions
• Critical knowledge & skills including tools, software applications, language, etc.
• Fluency in English language and other language(s) as required by location
• Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work capably under pressure and react positively to operation and people oriented situations.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
