Job Description

The Inventory Control Co-ordinator works with stores and warehouses to ensure system integrity and achieve reduction in stock losses for all locations and investigates into stock variances. . The Inventory Control Co-ordinator ensures accuracy and provides system support during physical counts.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Activities:
• Conducts random checks of deliveries to stores against store order invoices
• Verifies delivery discrepancies and coordinates investigations with respective ICOs
• Issues, monitors and files inventory control forms such as Manual Transfer Forms (MTFs), Spirits, Wines & Tobacco (SWT) and General Merchandise (GM) Delivery Discrepancy Forms, Merchandise Loan Forms, Destruction Certificates etc.
• Provides support and investigation for locations’ scheduled daily counts
• Manages Lost & Found buckets in system and provides required investigation
• Investigates on stock variances reported by the shop floor
• Conducts adhoc storage location checks to ensure accuracy in system Monthly Activities:
• Compiles and reviews Delivery Discrepancy Report
• Reviews Lost & Found buckets in system and initiates required investigation
• Maintains SWT breakage listing and safe keeps breakage items for further review by custom
• Provides support, investigation and compiles result for locations’ in-house monthly counts
• Reviews negative on-hand inventory for locations and advises necessary adjustments
• Provides leased vendor sales details and pre-order cancellation reports to Shared Service Centre Stock Count:
• Liaises with Shop Operations team on monthly stock count dates and variance investigation, follow-up on investigation process and ensures closure of count result within MAP required timeline
• Supervises physical counts conducted by shop floor staff to ensure count completeness and compiles stock count results
• Provides technical assistance in the usage of stock count equipment
• Arranges audit teams to locations to conduct 15% audit
• Compiles locations yearly stock count result for management’s review ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Ensures system integrity and achieves reduction in stock losses
• Ensures accuracy and provides system support

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years relevant work experience
• Good command of spoken and written English language
