Job Description

With the ever-changing landscape in human resources, we are looking for a passionate Human Resources Specialist (generalist) to join our HR team. This position will perform various generalist roles with an emphasis on employee benefits, employee engagement activities, and employee communications. You will be working closely with the Senior Human Resources Specialist to perform these functions as well as special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer the benefits program
• Develop and propose employee engagement activities
• Ensure that all staff receive the training and certifications required by government regulations
• Maintain and update employee records
• Assist in the recruitment process
• Assists in facilitating New Hire and On-Boarding Sessions
• Administer the Monthly Rewards Program
• Maintain employees personnel records
• Participate in ad-hoc projects.

Key Requirements:
Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management / Administration or an equivalent combination of work experience and related education
• At least 2 years of experience in human resources or office administration
• Excellent command of verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a team player
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients
• Good time management, organizational, inter-personal & multi-tasking skills
• Proficient user of Office 365 application, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
