Job Description

The Finance Manager's mission is to plan, manage, monitor, and control the Reimagining Travel Retail (RTR) budget and to take on the role of finance business partner, providing support and guidance to the RTR community on all aspects of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and control the RTR budget (both P&L and capital expenditure) in close collaboration with the RTR team, IT team and all functional finance teams;
• Collaborate closely with product teams to define and analyze the effectiveness of RTR capex investments via both financial and non-financial KPIs;
• Monitor RTR P&L expenditure, investigating variances and providing commentary;
• Liaise with Singapore Shared Service Center (SSC) for the monthly and yearly finance closing and ensure that each month end close is in order;
• Manage and prepare the strategic plan, budget and forecast planning for the RTR team;
• Provide financial input into vendor due diligence, selection and management processes;
• Work with IT Finance to develop and refine capex procedures for the RTR community, ensuring compliance to company policies, accounting treatments and auditing standards;
• Manage day-to-day finance responsibilities for RTR team and be main point of contact for any finance-related queries;
• Advise VP, Digital & E-Commerce Development on emergent issues arising from the execution of finance-related activities.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s university degree or equivalent, CPA beneficial
• Proven track-record as business analyst / controller
• Experience in accounting for intangibles and IT operating expenditure
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel
• At least 7 years’ experience
• Experience in working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines/priorities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
• Self-motivated with ability to challenge status quo and drive process improvements
• Fluent in written and spoken English
