Job Description

Finance Manager Working directly with the Senior Finance Manager (Store) to support the division to assist in managing business performance and commercial segment for the division with key focus on financial planning and store analysis. Together with the team in Singapore and local team, he/she will provide strong backbone to support Cambodian markets where Store Finance does not have strong FP&A presence.

Key Responsibilities:
I) FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
• Full understanding of financials KPIs - sales, pax and spend and etc; support on sales forecast, budget and start plan process
• Review and approve monthly P/L
• Participate in division monthly financial reporting to management and store stakeholders
• Deep dive to understand variances vs budget/forecast and drive action plans to manage financial target II) BUSINESS ANALYSIS & STORE PARTNERING
• Support on operational initiatives and project decision making through sound financial analysis
• Work closely with Store to fully understand the key drivers and rationalize the initiatives and strategy e.g. Marketing & Promotion Analysis, TAPA Analysis
• Work closely with Store, HR and Analysts to work towards effective cost control and productivity in human resource planning (space and shift coverage, sales productivity and etc) III) BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS
• Partner with Store to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Process review within and cross divisions for best practice and standardization through partnership of Store Finance Managers across DFS network IV) AUDIT, INTERNAL CONTROL & RISK MANAGEMENT
•Key liaison with external and internal auditors
•Conduct ad-hoc review for compliance of recommendations across division
• Work closely with Corporate Risk Management team to collation of financial information for the renewal of insurance coverage V) CONTRACTS & LEASE MANAGEMENT
• Arrange for insurance coverage in special events
•Review agreements – tenancy, subleases, concessions, operating contracts, marketing contracts in order to ensure alignment and protection of financial interests of the organization. VI) EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS’ MANAGEMENT
• Maintain close working relationship with relevant external parties to support operating activities
• Support the execution and implementation of initiatives VII) PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
• Provide development and coaching to the team members, promote knowledge sharing and manage succession risk

Key Requirements:
- University graduate in Finance or related discipline with ACA / CPA qualifications - 10 years solid experience in business consulting, analysis and operational support in sizable companies; preferably in retail consumer products / fashion field - High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge in SAP a plus, Power BI - Strong analytical skills and in financial modelling - Fluent in English with excellent presentation and communication skills - Able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen - Strong team player; able to work with cross-functional teams & comfortable working with diverse levels within the organization - Pro-active approach, with a strong drive to complete tasks effectively and accurately within tight deadline - High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information - Enthusiastic to drive efficiency within the organization - Confident in leading group discussions to generate ideas or solve problems - Accuracy and attention to detail - Sense of urgency and timely deliveries
