Job Description

The incumbent will be in-charge of keeping track of capital expenditure projects and ensuring timely invoice payments. The incumbent is required to liaise with project consultants and project managers to ensure proper payment certification. The incumbent will also need to ensure that payment records for project expenditure are complete and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Keep track of capital expenditure projects.
2. Responsible for prompt submission of invoices for payment and compliance with company approval authority.
3. Responsible for monthly reconciliation between Construction-in-Progress (CIP) account and project expenditure file.
4. Coordinate with Accounts Payable department to ensure timely payment.
5. Liaise with project Consultants and project Managers to ensure timely payment certification and obtain outstanding invoices
6. Liaise with DFS logistics and custom department for outstanding invoices
7. Liaise with Accounts Receivable department for billing of brand contribution.
8. Keep proper filing records (hardcopy and softcopy) of each project
9. Work closely with Fixed Asset Team to ensure that information on project expenditure file is complete and accurate.
10. Other adhoc projects as assigned

Key Requirements:
• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of experience in GL / Full set of accounts
• Must be proficient in MS Excel/computer savvy, SAP experience is an advantage
