Job Description

This newly created Finance Assistant (one year contract) will assist Consolidation and Group Reporting (CGR) team in daily accounting and reporting activities including implementation of IFRS 16 Leases accounting standards and preparation of group financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in monthly consolidation activities such as communication of reporting activities, preparation of exchange rates and updating of closing schedules, etc.
• Assist in preparation of group reports for internal management and external shareholders (LVMH and Search Group)
• Assist to consolidate and review monthly country reports
• Assist in setup/update of new businesses and ERP databases including new entity codes, general ledger accounts, cost centers and other financial reporting segments
• Assist in preparation of group statutory financial statements
• Assist in preparation for new IFRS 16 Leases accounting standards
• Any other group closing and reporting activities

Key Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy/Accounting with 3-4 years’ accounting experience
- Fresh graduates with Bachelor of Accountancy/Accounting
- Computer proficiency in Excel, SAP experience is an advantage
- Good communications and writing skills
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player
- Ability to meet tight deadlines - Knowledge in SAP, Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) and SyRUS reporting tools an advantage
