Job Description



Key Responsibilities:
Daily monitoring to ensure all shop facilities are functioning properly at all times - Escort and supervise the performance of service providers and outsource contractors adhering to location specific security requirements and ensuring all work meets DFS specifications including completion time frames - Oversee contractors for non-technical work and schedule accordingly -Ensure all operational and safety procedures are properly followed - Obtain quotes and recommend preferred vendors to DFS management for maintenance works, supplies for repairs, housekeeping supplies etc. - Source equipment, hardware, supplies and parts, including materials for repairs as required and from outside sources, if not locally available - Oversee the ordering and monitoring of equipment and supplies - Coordinate with relevant department and / or contractors to carry out site inspections, maintenance work, renovation work, special event preparation and assist on projects - Maintain facility documentation including maintenance log, plans, archives and other documentation as required. Filing of all Purchase Orders (PO?s), invoices, test reports, maintenance logs, EPA reports, LVMH reports and transmitted project reports and documents - Coordinate meetings, lead, coach, and train the team in general housekeeping works, maintenance works, safety requirements, etc. - Coordinate site inspections with authorized inspectors to ensure site compliance with regulatory requirements etc. - Maintain Proximity card access system and key log (in locations where applicable) - Supervise facility support staff - Prepare and complete staff performance appraisals - Promote good working environment with an open-line of communication between employees and management - Carry out supervisory responsibilities, including: interviewing, hiring and training employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems - Perform other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner - Comply with DFS? Occupational Health & Safety Policy and procedures - Take reasonable care to act and behave in a manner that promotes care and diligence to oneself and others in the workplace - Comply with reasonable instructions from any supervisor or authorized representative of the company concerning health and safety matters - Attend OHS training as required and actively participate in Emergency Response procedures - Participate in identifying, assessing and controlling risks and hazards in the workplace - Report any accident/injury/hazard in the workplace to manager or the site OHS Representative using the DFS? systems and the logbook ETA

Key Requirements:
Required tools to perform work will be provided. 1) Three-Fourths Guarantee: Worker will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the worker contract or in its extensions, if any. 2) Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker while traveling from the worker's origin to the place of employment as will the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity.
