Job Description

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic individual to join our in-house creative & content team — working collaboratively on a multitude of campaigns and initiatives for a global multi-brand travel retailer.

Key Responsibilities:
The role of the Editor is to strategize and produce engaging content that reinforces our T Galleria & DFS brand positioning as “The World Traveler’s Luxury Retailer. Since 1960.” with a strong focus on China.
• Establish, maintain, and champion a strong brand tone-of-voice while embodying our LVMH standards of excellence.
• Lead creative strategies, concepts, and editorial content that meet our business objectives.
• Content planning for our DFS editorial calendar — merging marketing, merchandising & brand priorities
• Incorporate & infuse market/consumer insights and trends into our concepts — integrating art with commerce to ensure a balance of editorial and commercial value.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams across marketing, merchandising, and operations from corporate to division, to ensure our content is envisioned & implemented successfully.
• Hands-on writing of Chinese (SC and TC) content.
• Lead and evolve our team of linguists and translation agencies to achieve goals & objectives
• Execute both global & local customer-facing content across all online & offline channels including personalization & segmentation opportunities •Online Channels & Touchpoints — Website, EDM, Social Media (WeChat, XHS, Weibo, Facebook, Instagram), E-Commerce, Media Buys, Catalogs & Gift Guides, etc. •Offline Channels & Touchpoints — In-Store VM & Signage, In-Store and In-Market Collaterals, Advertising, Catalogs & Gift Guides, etc. •Content Types — Campaigns, Product/Category Trends & Stories, Travel Guides, Brand Ambassador Editorial & Interviews, Retail Experiences, Events & Promotions, Loyal T Programs & Services, Press Release, etc.
• Execute internal-facing content for the organization. •Content Types — Business Development Pitch Presentations, HR & Internal Communications, etc.

Key Requirements:
• Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, highly creative & curious
• Excellent written Simplified & Traditional Chinese (priority on Simplified Chinese)
• Excellent spoken Mandarin & Cantonese (priority on Mandarin)
• Great written & spoken English communication skills
• Conceptual thinker with excellent creative writing skills for luxury retail
• Elevated visual aesthetic with a strong curatorial point-of-view
• Ability to conceptualize & create content holistically across online & offline channels
• Authority to represent DFS as our brand guardian — protecting and defining our tone-of-voice
• Proficiency in both Western and Chinese digital & social media trends (priority on Chinese)
• Ability to prioritize & manage multiple projects within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Expertise on every step of content creation from concept to execution
• Ability to collaborate well within a global & multi-cultural team
• Customer-centric. Results-driven. Detail-oriented. Hands-on. Team player. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s university degree or equivalent
• 5–7+ years of experience and proven track-record within luxury retail or a fashion-related industry (e-commerce, online/offline magazine, mono or multi-brand retailer)
