Job Description

The DFS E-Commerce & Digital Team is seeking an experienced manager to drive the expansion of DFS’ E-Commerce solution. The individual will contribute to the redefinition of the online travel retail industry as part of the DFS’ Technology Group transformation strategy. They will be a part of the journey to expand DFS’ e-commerce platform through the delivery of new features, integration with other touchpoints (O2O, WeChat, Campaign Management) and rollout to new geographies.

Ideal candidates should come with a balance of technical depth, business acumen, and good communication skills. The individual will have to work collaboratively with different functions across various levels within the organization, to align and deliver on business strategy and outcomes. The successful candidate should be results-oriented, eager to learn and with a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:
• As a project leader to manage project plan, timeline and communication across project stakeholders
• Be the key driver on delivery processes (e.g. code branching model, daily deployments, JIRA usage) and follow-up with third party readiness (e.g. SLI, PSP)
• Be proactive to assess and follow-up on technical dependencies (e.g. Architecture, Infra, Integration etc.) and resource planning
• Process implementation, governance & alignment with DFS Agile Framework
•Story review & prioritization process (e.g. Kanban board, daily reviews)
•Identify areas for growth and improvement within the team
•Take ownership on Risk Assessment
• Provide transparent and accurate project status reports throughout different project phases (e.g. development, SIT, UAT, deployment, Go live, etc.)
• To practice Arbitrage on projects (e.g. Technical Changes vs User Story)
• Manage the UAT process, work with business on coordinating the UAT and Dry-run; manage the follow up actions
• Coordinate and consult on human change management to ensure development can be adopted by business users

Key Requirements:
- MS in computer Science, Project Management or equivalent
- 6-8 years of related experience
- E-commerce platform experience; e.g. SAP Hybris, Oracle ATG, or Magento
- Experienced on fraud and payment solutions; including digital payments: Alipay, WeChat Pay
- Analytics solution (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
- Well versed on Search Engine (SOLR)
- Code quality and analysis tools (SonarQube, codeClimate, codeBeat)
- Release and deployment tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus, BuddyBuild)
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience as a e-commerce Solutions Project Manager
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with SCRUM methodology or Agile delivery experience
- Proven track record managing external partners and vendors
- Strong exposure to e-commerce solutions and global rollout
- Tools related to Project Management and AGILE methodology (Confluence, JIRA, RTC, Smartsheet, Slack…)
- Understanding and basic knowledge of digital interface design processes and technologies (e.g. Information Architecture, UI & Interaction Design, Creative Design, Front-End performance)
- Knowledge of trends and latest technologies in e-commerce industry
- Appreciation for the importance of sound technical development and QA
- Good knowledge in Continuous Integration Platform, Deployment tools, code quality management, monitoring tools, DEV-OPS
- Able to travel occasionally within Asia-Pacific (Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai)
