Job Description

The Director, HR Systems is a member of the Senior Technology Management team. Working within DFS to influence and execute its strategy by delivering solutions, achieve KPIs and responsible / accountable for the cost and to meet specific corporate objectives. This is accomplished by leading and directing the teams by leveraging on the Global Technology organization, domain knowledge, stakeholder management and vendor services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with key HR partners through written, verbal and face to face meetings.
• Actively influence HR strategies based upon what’s possible from an Technology standpoint
• Pro-actively identify opportunities to exploit systems to better meet HR needs
• Contribute to the development of Technology strategy, specifically exploiting domain knowledge and current systems to ensure that Technology strategy compliments HR strategy
• Responsible for the whole suite of HR systems
•Collaborate with the HR to define benefit, scope, requirements, support areas and budget
•Accountability for definition and management of project budget
•Manage the dependencies and timeline through coordinating resources (people & technology) with service providers
•Collaborate with Project sponsors throughout to ensure alignment with scope and objectives
•Manage, maintain and drive to resolution, functional and technical issues which arise during the process
•Drive processes to result in delivery of defined outcomes
•Gain agreement to and set SLAs for new systems created from projects
• Define solutions that leverage the existing systems, while positioning these solutions to align with the plans and technology direction of DFS
• Build and maintain relationships with third party vendors
• Develop subordinates and peers internal / external

Key Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Business with strong technical experience
• Minimum 10 years of regional IT management experience• At least 10+ years of relevant experience in HR related systems
• SAP experience, Success Factors implementation preferred
• Functional and Technical skillset is a MUST.
• Strong background in managing, implementing and deploying HR technology solutions
• Management of IT consulting initiatives
• Effective cost management and control

• Knowledge of current HR trends
