The DFS Technology team is seeking a Director role to lead its Enterprise Transformation and New Business operations portfolio – a global role, based in Singapore. This individual will be responsible for driving technology strategy, solution design, engineering, and operations of DFS SAP platform and S4HANA Business transformation projects. The candidate will also drive Program Management Office for New Business Operations systems representing Global Technology. They will do this by working collaboratively with other IT domains, business product owners, data & analytics stakeholders, brand partners, and external technology partners to execute the Enterprise Transformation technology roadmap. The Director, their team members and technology partners will work with business leaders and product owners to drive the roadmap in support of DFS’ overall vision and business objectives. The candidate should possess a balance of technical depth, business acumen, and strong communication skills. Candidate should be independent, results-oriented, eager to learn and with a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall people and technology leadership to the transformation teams that are involved in Legacy modernization and SAP transformation within Global Technology.
• Lead initiatives in the near term that are focused on exploiting existing investments in SAP ECC , while working towards S4HANA Transformation.
• Develop strategy, goals, and lead the execution of SAP and newer technology platforms supporting Supply chain, Merchandising and Logistics to align with organization objectives and inter-department goals and targets.
• Responsible for co-developing and executing on company-wide New Business Operations Strategy and partnering with other department heads.
• Collaborate with development teams to shape and drive tactical and strategic development of Business transformation projects across SAP and non- SAP technologies in Backoffice domains of Supply Chain, Merchandising, Logistics and others
• Partner with product owners, tech leads, technology partners and cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet the needs of the enterprise.
• Oversee solution design for SAP and future S4HANA suite of products in the implementation roadmap.
• Drive day-to-day service delivery for the SAP platform, leading initiatives to improve long-term performance, system stability, scalability, security, and resilience of services.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with business leaders and teams from across the DFS organization.
• Lead the technology strategy and budget planning and management processes for Transformation and NBO team and contribute to the wider enterprise technology strategy.
• Drive long-term relationships with external technology partners.
• Stewardship of overall IT services for the SAP portfolio, including customer satisfaction, service availability, service quality, communications, and DR strategy.
• Engage DFS business-oriented partners (i.e., brands, logistics partners) and their technology affiliates to drive project initiatives which further the DFS business strategy.
• Identify opportunities to exploit and enhance SAP landscape and data integration capabilities.
• Work with Extended IT teams in Hong-Kong, Singapore, and offshore teams in India
• Successful candidates: •Will have experience leading, motivating, coaching, and developing diverse teams composed of direct, indirect, and external members. •Will have experience developing and managing budgets at the domain, program, and project level of both capital and operational nature. •Will have experience leading support for production systems with emphasis on service delivery, problem management, and the effective mitigation of technology obsolescence. •Will have experience working in a multi-vendor environment. •Will have experience managing overseas teams.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 12-15 years of experience designing and delivering technology solutions in the SAP domain through consulting or in-house technology roles including 6-8 years of people leadership.
• Should have delivered successfully one E2E SAP S/4 Implementations as Project or Program Manager or 2-3 SAP ECC full lifecycle implementations.
• Must be proficient in major SAP Project Management methodologies like Activate, ASAP, Hybrid Agile, Fit Gap Analysis, Global vs Local Template design and Rollout strategy implementation.
• Experience in rolling out country specific package/ localization like France, Brazil or others
• Organize and manage project teams to drive predictable delivery. Integrate third-party products into an SAP system.
• Professional / technology certification is desirable
• Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
• Experience in SAP SCM, MM and third-party integrations in enterprise portfolio
• Vendor management
• Stakeholder communications and management
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and deliver quality work in a fast-paced work environment
