Job Description

We are looking for a highly creative and enthusiastic individual to join our in-house creative team, working collaboratively on a multitude of campaigns and initiatives for a global multi-brand travel retailer. Create designs and layouts that are engaging and reflect the targeted positioning of the DFS brands within the digital and video worlds

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the vision of digital visual designs for an omni-channel customer journey
• Serve as the digital visual designer for the corporate marketing team, divisions and within the organization and deliver excellent layouts in terms of quality and performance: •Support the team on the design, the creation of static & dynamic content (design layout, animation, video, GIFS, long/short format) for website, e-commerce, EDM, digital media buys, social media platforms, in-store digital screens •Provide updates on the latest digital design industry trends and executions which could be applied to DFS in the future •Collaborate closely with team of designers and outsourcing agencies •Manage the production lifecycle of creative content and assets, including formatting, video-editing, image retouching, color correcting, optimization, and layout adaptations
• Incorporate brand guidelines into all digital content creation to reinforce our brand awareness
• Generate innovative ideas that constantly improve our customer experience, benchmarking industry best practices and world-class standards
• Act as the centralized key contact on all digital content requests within the organization, while supporting directors and VPs within the marketing department on company initiatives
• Awareness of trends and have the ability to translate them into innovative digital creative
• Constant refining of technical skills based upon industry best practices & standards

Key Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience
• Proven track-record as digital designer with experience in an advertising agency / luxury retail environment preferred
• Formal training in graphic and digital design or related disciplines
• Degree in graphic design, interactive multi-digital media or web design is a plus
• Expert skills in design tools: Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut, Illustrator, In-Design, Sketch is a plus
• Skills in other tools: One Drive, Box, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Suite
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Mandarin & Cantonese is a plus
• Enthusiastic, highly creative with the ability to create engaging designs that resonate with the luxury world traveler
• Strong portfolio demonstrating your abilities in concepting and designing web sites and/or web applications
• Knowledge of UI/UX design, wire framing, GUI (screen layout and composition) and style guide implementation
• Solid understanding of current web platform, interaction design, and usability principles
• Detail-oriented and accurate while being result-oriented: Ability to work quickly from concept creation to finished product
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven entrepreneurial environment
• Hands-on and collaborative mentality, with ability to take on feedback positively
• Customer focus: Evaluate customer feedback and adapt visuals accordingly
