Job Description

The Promotions Coordinator is critical for the coordination and execution of location promotions to maximize the customer’s experience and ensuring that DFS is the Global Traveler’s preferred destination for luxury shopping. This person supports various promotional calendars, is the link between the Store Teams, Marketing and the Merchant team, ensuring successful execution in our locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the team w/communication tracking, preparation & coordinating execution of approved promotions in the location
• Project manages the vendor package process •Assists with updating and maintaining vendor packages •Assists in creating new vendor packages for new spaces •Cross collaborates with VM, merchants, promotions/marketing and store teams •Assists with fact-checking and providing all the necessary information needed for the Visual Asset Management system •Responsible for entering and updating the Visual Management system •Manages the collateral checklist in partnership with Visual Merchandising team •Assists with tracking communications, brand renderings, feedback and approvals to ensure timely execution in store
• Assists with promotional admin tasks •Assembling the promotions checklist every month •Assembling the GWP Binder every month •Updating Digital Shelf Labels every two months •Approving GWP orders every week •Updates the Invoice Status and Balance Log to make sure that all invoices are updated •Assists with submitting global and local invoices
• Coordinate the promotional set up to be installed on time through liaison with Visual Merchandise and Product support teams to ensure ongoing smooth, accurate product flow to support the promotion. Also, to act as an effective promotional communication flow between the stakeholders internally and externally with the brands, AGM Sales, Product Sales Managers (PSM), Merchants, and/or local vendors
• Assists the Promotions and Marketing team in documenting the promotion’s effectiveness and analyzing the results, identifying successes, opportunities for improvements in future implementations

Key Requirements:
Educational Requirements: College or University Degree, preferably in Management, Business or equivalent, but not essential Work Experience:1 to 2+ years in retail environment required. Team leadership experience with retail, service industry or merchandising role highly desired. Critical knowledge & skills, including software applications, languages, etc. Strong Command of English language, written and spoken Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
