Job Description

We are looking for a highly creative and enthusiastic individual to join our in-house creative team, working collaboratively on a multitude of campaigns and initiatives for a global multi-brand travel retailer. The role of the Content Specialist is to generate and curate the content of our marketing activities (print & digital) reflecting the DFS brand positioning as “The Traveler’s Luxury Department Store”.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generating original English brand and promotional copy for corporate communications, consumer-facing and external platforms for online to offline touch points including DFS.com, e-commerce site, advertising, social media, EDM, press release, printed leaflet and catalog, store guide, in-store VM and event-related content, etc
• Maintaining a strong editorial tone of voice and consistency which reflect the company philosophy and brand positioning in cooperation with the respective internal and external stakeholders
• Proofreading, editing, fact checking and formatting content in various format and platforms
• Project managing DFS marketing campaign and being the gate keeper of English tone and voice within the marketing group
• Trafficking content across corporate and divisional teams, keeping the DFS Glossary and Translations Memory up-to-date
• Researching relevant key opinion leaders and influencers for partnership and editorial usage
• Conducting best practice and market research for internal usage

Key Requirements:

• Degree holder of Language Studies or Marketing or Communications
• Native English speaker is a MUST
• 2-3 years of Editorial and/or Marketing experience
• Editorial and luxury background a plus, ideally with a magazine / e-commerce background in the luxury industry
• Based in Hong Kong
• Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, highly-creative & curious
• Strong aesthetic taste with an understanding of luxury
• Creative: Develop strategy, ideas, presentation decks, and editorial content that resonate with the world travelling luxury consumer, while supporting sales
• Be proficient in digital & social media trends
• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Hands-on with a service mentality
• Result-oriented: Ability to prioritize and work quickly from concept creation to finished product
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Customer centric: Ability to evaluate customer feedback and adapt accordingly – “test & learn”
• Great verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work well within a global and culturally diverse team
