Job Description

The Consumer Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager in conceptualising, co-ordinating and executing marketing campaigns by working closely with internal stakeholders – Store, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Corporate Marketing, as well as external stakeholders – Changi Airport Group, agencies and business partners. The Marketing Manager uses customer insights to develop marketing campaigns and effective communication channels, drives results, manages budgets and ensures ROIs are fully maximised.

Key Responsibilities:
Campaigns & Activations
• Responsible for conceptualisation, co-ordination and execution of promotions & activations in the stores
• Liaison with vendors and existing business partners, as well as source for new partners for win-win collaborations
• Management of external agencies – PR, events, digital, media to ensure briefs are met and KPIs are delivered
• Development of effective tactical promotional offers – GWP, vouchers, lucky draw, etc
• Work with AGMs on sales targets while managing costs & expenses to ensure ROIs are met
• Monitor campaign effectiveness by tracking results & generating reports to analyse results & identify successes, learnings and opportunities for future implementations

Partnership Development
• Reaching out to relevant partners – airlines, credit card/payment platforms, airport tenants, lifestyle partners to drive opportunities for traffic penetration, sales conversion and loyal T signups
• To support Changi SWT & GM businesses, as well as SCC

Digital & Social Media
• Management of DFS Changi digital and social media platforms, including content development, media strategy and KOL engagement
• Engage & consult with Corporate Digital & PR teams as well as manage our own digital & PR agencies

Changi Airport Group (CAG)
• Work closely with these CAG divisions to drive new initiatives and support their campaigns:
• iShopChangi – content development, promotional campaigns & offline activations
• Changi Rewards – events, engagement & promotional campaigns
• Digital & Social Media – content development, pitching & engagement

Administrative Tasks
• Preparation of proposals, marketing briefs & budget request forms
• Manage post campaign feedback sharing and reporting
• Track & update consumer marketing budget

Key Requirements:
• Education: Degree/Diploma in Marketing or Business
• Critical skills: Strong command of English language, written & spoken with competency in Simplified Chinese
• Work experience: At least 5 years of managerial experience in marketing or business development in retail, service or FMCG industries
• Other knowledge, skills and abilities required:
• Able to work independently with strong planning and organisational skills
• Driven with focus on results and analytical mindset
• Deliver high standards with accuracy and attention to details
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish good relationships with colleagues and business partners
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written and comfortable in making presentations
• Able to prioritise heavy workload, work under stringent deadlines in a multiple-stakeholder and high-pressure environment
• Able to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Proficient in using MS tools, including Excel, Word & Powerpoint
