Job Description
The Category Assistant is supporting our Merchandising and Planning teams in their daily business and takes part in projects to improve how the category works together. He/she will work in one of our brand teams and will support the management of Promotions & Margins, as well as Orders & Inventory.Key Responsibilities:
• Management of Purchase Orders •Maintenance/Tracking •Coordination with brand partners & DFS logistic team
• Support in all Pricing-related topics, particularly for our monthly promotional activities •Creation of Price Changes & Promotions in system •Follow-up on execution
• Support Revenue Management with Vendor Support agreements •Creation •Tracking •Follow-up with brand partners
• Maintenance of relevant category reports
• Management of return logistics and other merchandising topics with brand partners
• Support of ad-hoc and improvement projects
Key Requirements:
• College or University Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Previous merchandising and/or planning and/or Shared Services Center Preferred. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Temp
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent at problem solving and handling multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented and analytical

• Customer Focus (internal customer) and Interpersonal Savvy
