We are looking for a sophisticated people leader for our Product Support team. As the Team Lead, Product Support, you will lead and develop your team to deliver efficient movement and storage of product across all categories. In day to day, you will monitor the delivery schedules; plan team assignments to ensure smooth, timely processing and distribution of products to the sales floor. You will also assist in the execution of seasonal stock takes. 

Merchandise Management 
•    Supervise deliveries and liaise with Product Manager and Warehouse on stock delivery time
•    Supervise the acceptance and verification of incoming product for your assigned location; ensure all stocks are checked in accordance with DFS standard procedures
•    Supervise and action reverse-logistics when necessary in an accurate and efficient way, including keeping merchandise in a saleable condition, process Return to Vendor, Inter Division Transfers, Location-to Location Transfers, Other Third Party Transfers etc.
•    Assist to control write-offs, damaged, and markdown stock and ensure there is accurate and completed documentation 
•    Liaise with Assistant General Manager (AGM) Operations and AGM Sales to ensure that all aged stocks are cleared within appropriate timeframes 
•    Maintain appropriate and efficient space management of stock rooms including accurate and clear labeling of shelves/boxes/storage areas 
•    Supervise the support teams to efficiently receive, sort, and prepare to replenish the sales floor with merchandise
•    Supervise accurate and efficient delivery of stock to the customer in line with location service and facilities offered 

Team Management  
•    Responsible for Product Support team’s retention, staff development and job satisfaction levels; lead, coach and train Product Support team members to ensure they are consistently growing in skills, confidence and effectiveness in their roles 
•    Ensure a development plan is in place and actively reviewed for the Product Support team; work with Product Manager to identify high potentials and ensure development plans are in place 

Ideal Candidate

•    Secondary School, High School Diploma or equivalent 
•    2+ years’ experience in a retail or distribution environment; 1-2 years’ team leadership experience preferred
•    Familiar with online detective tool and inventory systems to process transfers and acknowledge receipts of merchandise 
•    Valid driver’s license in locations <<remove if not applicable>>
•    Certified to operate a forklift <<remove if not applicable>>
•    Good leadership skills and be able to work with a diverse staff team
•    Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment 
•    Able to lift merchandise-filled cartons as required
•    Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly 
•    Able to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays as required by the needs of the business 
•    Good verbal and written communication skills
