Supervisor, Logistics

Job Description

  • Determines order pulling labor hours and assigns staff to complete tasks
  • Ensures replenishment orders for merchandise are filled accurately
  • Ensures that all totes/cartons are properly picked, packed and labeled
  • Ensures proper labels have been applied before shipment 
  • Ensures all store orders are invoiced
  • Coordinates the staging of the totes/cartons for delivery
  • Trains all staff in the proper order pulling/shipping procedures
  • Coordinate with Merchandising and Store Operations on store replenishment and delivery needs
  • Coordinate with managers in assignments of DFS and Common Carrier vehicles for merchandise shipments
  • Ensures that merchandise transfers are delivered to the selling locations in a timely manner
  • Complies with all DFS, US Custom and other applicable government agency regulations


Key Requirements

Prior warehouse supervisory experience required

  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of programs including Excel and Word
  • WMS experience a must
  • Forklift and Order Picker certified
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work flexible shifts
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Able to drive and operate a non-CDL delivery truck safely.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean traffic abstract
  • Able to operate material handling equipment and work at heights of over 30+ feet
  • Able to work flexible days and hours
  • Able to obtain all licenses and necessary security clearances for airport access.
  • Able to work safely and within DFS/Airport/ & CTPAT security guidelines and standards.
