Sr Mgr, Consumer Marketing

What you'll be doing?

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development and Implementation:

    • Create and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and market positioning.
    • Identify target audiences, develop marketing plans, and select appropriate marketing channels.
  • Campaign Management:

    • Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, content marketing, advertising, public relations, and events.
    • Oversee campaign execution, track performance, and analyze results to optimize future campaigns.
  • Team Leadership and Management:

    • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Handle hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Budget Management:

    • Manage marketing budgets, ensure efficient allocation of resources, and demonstrate return on investment (ROI) for marketing activities.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

    • Collaborate effectively with various internal departments (sales, product development, finance) and external stakeholders (agencies, partners, media).
    • Build and maintain relationships crucial for successful marketing initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Market Research:

    • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
    • Use data and insights to make informed decisions and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Reporting and Communication:

    • Regularly report on marketing performance, campaign results, and key metrics to senior management.
    • Communicate marketing insights and recommendations clearly and effectively.

  • Product Marketing:

    • Develop product positioning, messaging, and launch strategies.
  • Brand Management:

    • Maintain and strengthen brand identity and consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise:

    • Have a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and technologies.
  • Public Relations and Communications:

    • Manage media relations, develop press releases, and handle public relations activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is typically required.
    • A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field can be advantageous.
  • Experience:

    • Extensive experience in marketing, typically 5-10 years, is expected for a Senior Marketing Manager position.
    • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is also highly valued.
  • Skills:

    • Essential skills include strategic thinking, analytical skills, communication skills (written and verbal), leadership skills, project management skills, and a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
