Senior Product Analyst, Retail Systems

Job Description


DFS Global Technology is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to lead the implementation of retail systems globally. This candidate will be responsible in rolling out retail systems that address business needs. This candidate should possess a balance of technical depth, business acumen, and strong communication skills. The role involves working collaboratively with different technology and business functions within various levels of the organization to deliver business objectives.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Support Product Manager with roadmap for continuous product development in retail business and system operations 
  • Lead and manage multiple delivery plans across DFS’ global retail systems program, including project management, risk & issue management, communication, and change management 
  • Lead and drive business requirements analysis, delivery plan on business solutions and processes, considering risk management and cost-benefit analyses
  • Lead new business / new store for retail related application (e.g.: POS, Customer Analytics, etc.)
  • Lead vendors during delivery process and work with service delivery team for P3 issues impacting the store operations
  • Ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects while also ensuring that project gates and governance are properly adhered to during the execution of the project.
  • Communicate internally and externally departmental interdependencies as well as cross product and cross project


Key Requirements


  • Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in technology implementation or consulting
  • Professional / technology certification is desirable
  • Experience in working in an agile or waterfall delivery team
  • Experience of using product management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Strong business analysis experience, project and process management in travel industry and/or retail operations
  • Knowledge of Retail Industry and business process
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills, with direct responsibility for managing project teams, budget, and schedule
  • Experience in creating, executing, and documenting project-based Business Test cases and results.
  • Ability to speak and present clearly technical information to diverse types of audiences (management, business users and vendors)
  • Ability to work under pressure with aggressive deadline and multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quality work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Will be required to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts


This role is based in Singapore, but occasional travel may be required
