Senior Manager, People Analytics

What you'll be doing?

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager in People Analytics to join our dynamic HR team based in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in providing data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making and support organizational design and transformation initiatives. This role involves the critical tasks of managing and upgrading our company's HR and workforce analytics dashboards.

 

1.    Dashboard Maintenance and Development:
•    Utilize Python programming skills to extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets.
•    Employ expertise in Snowflake cloud data platform to securely store and analyze data efficiently.
•    Design visually compelling reports with Power BI that enable stakeholders to grasp complex analytics effortlessly.
•    Ensure continuous improvement and customization of the HR dashboard to meet evolving business needs.

 

2.    Global Payroll Analysis, Trend Monitoring and Various Reporting:
•    Provide comprehensive regular payroll analyses that offer deep insights into cost optimisation and compensation trends and variances.
•    Keep abreast of global payroll trends and ensure accurate headcount (HC) / full-time equivalent (FTE) reporting.
•    Automate key people index and movements into the dashboard to reflect real-time organizational changes for easy access by senior leadership.
•    Prepare specialized analyses and presentation that clearly communicate findings and recommendations for senior leadership and/or Board of Directors.

 

3.    Organizational Structure Review & Change Management:
•    Participate in organizational structure reviews or people movement exercises from an analytical standpoint.
•    Provide analysis for change management initiatives within HR, supporting strategic decisions related to workforce planning.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.  
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and work in multi-disciplinary teams e.g. with strategy, transformation, finance, retail operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python programming specifically for data analysis purposes.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake's Data Cloud solutions for managing large volumes of data securely.
  • Expertise in creating interactive dashboards and reports with PowerBI or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated ability in conducting value realization studies pertaining to HR costs including payroll analysis.
  • Excellent presentation skills with experience preparing materials for board-level stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can translate complex datasets into meaningful insights.
  • Prior experience within change management focusing on organizational structure is highly desirable.
