Senior Manager, Marketing Insights

Job Description

DFS, part of LVMH, is a leading travel retail company specializing in luxury goods. We operate stores in airports and downtown locations, offering a wide range of premium products to our customers.

As the Senior Manager - Marketing Insights, you will play a vital role in driving our marketing strategy by leveraging data analysis and insights to better understand our customers, enhance their loyalty, and optimize our marketing effectiveness. You will lead a team responsible for extracting valuable insights from our first-party data, collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to support our marketing initiatives.

  • Develop and execute a data-driven marketing strategy to maximize the value of our customer base and drive customer loyalty.
  • Utilize customer data, including information from our loyalty program, to develop targeted marketing communications and campaigns.
  • Lead a team of direct reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of data-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the analysis of customer behavior, segmentation, and profiling to identify opportunities for personalized marketing approaches.
  • Work closely with the digital, brand, and loyalty teams to align marketing efforts and leverage data insights for effective customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with our merchant teams and divisions to provide a customer-centric view, enabling localized marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis, AI, and machine learning to drive innovation in marketing insights.
  • Utilize tools such as Snowflake, Python, SQL, PowerBI, and other relevant software to extract, analyze, and visualize data for actionable insights.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, data science, and marketing strategy, ideally at the senior manager level or equivalent.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate data insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data analysis tools and languages such as Snowflake, Python, SQL, PowerBI, and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, and their applications in marketing analytics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across departments and with stakeholders at all levels.
