Sales Associate II

What you'll be doing?

We are currently searching for an experienced and motivated Vendor Brand Specialist to work Full-Time in the new Macallan Boutique at Los Angeles International Airport store in Tom Bradley International Terminal. *This is an hourly, non-exempt, union position. The pay range is $18.50-$24.50 per hour.

The role:
As the Vendor Brand Specialist, you will be an 
ambassador of The Macallan and embodies the DNA and values of the brand. You will lead by example in demonstrating the role model behaviour that is representative of the brand in striving to deliver the promised brand experience to each and every customer. You will have strong product knowledge, provide excellent customer service, and build customer loyalty and relationships while challenging yourself with the sales and productivity targets.

Responsbilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise while demonstrating your excellence in customer service
  • Provide a unique one-on one consultation; cultivate loyal customers by offering professional advice on product assortment
  • Deliver high brand knowledge at all times and answer client inquiries relating to product
  • Be accountable for the sales results of the brand you represent
  • Complete customer transactions in a professional and timely manner
  • Identify customer’s temperaments and recommend products that suit their style
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner
  • Ensure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and DFS requirements
  • Maintain reasonable stock levels of all merchandise in the department
  • Be familiar with the store layout; direct customers to merchandise, services and facilities as appropriate
  • Assist the Management team in the coordination and execution of merchandising activities, e.g. inventory management, promotional activities and merchandise stock flow

Ideal Candidate

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a retail environment; Luxury retail experience is a preferred
  • Comfortable with one-on-one elevated customer service
  • Familiar with using the POS Terminal; with accurate and quick transaction handling ability
  • High energy level, have a positive approach to job and group responsibilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours / shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays. Able to work overtime hours when necessary
  • Secondary language speaking beneficial, but not required
