DFS Technology team is driving a significant transformation to modernize ways of working, deploy modular tech architectures/platforms, drive automation, digitize employee and customer experiences and deliver insights from DFS’ data.
A major component of this transformation is the implementation of a next-gen SAP S/4Hana core backbone globally across the DFS Group. You will partner closely with global business process leads/owners to support this implementation in conjunction with our appointed external partner, across all markets, ensuring the effective utilization of SAP S/4HANA best practice processes across the sell-side (order to cash) domain.

Job Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, Configuration and Customization:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
- Provide functional expertise and guidance to the implementation team during the design and build stage, ensuring alignment with business processes and adherence to SAP best practices.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of SAP modules, ensuring they meet the defined functional requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP modules with surrounding systems.
- System Integration and Testing:
- Collaborate with the implementation partner to align the test strategy, review and validate test cases, and provide guidance on functional requirements and test data.
- Monitor and oversee test execution activities conducted by the implementation partner, ensuring adherence to the test plan and quality standards, and resolving functional issues as they arise.
- Analyze test results, provide feedback on functional aspects, and collaborate with the implementation partner to prepare test reports, track defects, and facilitate test closure activities.
- User Training and Support:
- Collaborate with the implementation partner to analyze training needs and validate the accuracy and completeness of the training materials they prepare.
- Coordinate and support the delivery of training sessions for end-users, ensuring that the materials cover relevant functional areas and address specific user needs.
- Monitor training effectiveness, gather feedback from end-users, and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall training program.
- Change Management and User Adoption:
- Collaborate with the implementation partner to define the change management strategy, assess functional impacts, and provide guidance on stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate with the implementation partner to ensure the development and delivery of communication materials, and user adoption support related to functional changes.
- Assess the readiness of end-users and functional teams, collect feedback, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the change management processes and strategies.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with business process owner and understand their business needs.
- Provide recommendations and insights to improve business processes using SAP.
- Act as a trusted advisor to DFS on SAP functionality and best practices
- Continuous Learning and Skill Development:
- Stay updated on the latest SAP releases, functionalities, and industry trends.
- Enhance technical and functional knowledge through training and certifications.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the project team and within DFS
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science (or equivalent years of experience)
- At least 8 years’ experience with SAP, preferable in the Retail industry
- At least 3 years ‘experience working with Agile and Value realization
- Relevant SAP S4/HANA certifications (SAP SD, CAR)
Critical knowledge & skills including tools, software applications, language, etc.
- Deep understanding in the Retail Industry and the complexity of various phases of SAP implementation project and surrounding integration landscape
- Hands-on SAP project implementation experiences, with ideally 3 end-to-end project cycles, with SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
- Key SAP domain knowledge in SAP Sales (SD) and SAP CAR module functionalities, including order management, pricing, billing and POS data and audit management.
- Strong knowledge of functional end-to-end Retail sales processes, including store retail, wholesale and leasing.
- In-depth understanding of SAP modules integration
- Experience in business requirements analysis, business process design, SAP system design and configuration, system testing and user training and go-live support.
- Proficient in SAP configuration and customization
- Supports SAP project design, testing, training implementation.
- Has done both support and implementation.
- Experience in designing global template and regional template roll-out.
- Strong Business knowledge and ability to interact with business users.
- Overseas travelling may be required depending on project requirements.
Other Qualifications / Core Competencies
- Fluency in English, mandarin language is a plus.

Working Conditions / Environment
- This role can be based in Hong Kong; occasional travel will be required.
