DFS Finance Internship Program is a 12-week program that provides students with an opportunity to experience the luxury travel retail business and learn about the finance controllership & consolidation before completing their university studies.
 
Interns with high caliber and outstanding performance will be prioritized and may gain a fast-track opportunity in the DFS Global Management Trainee Program selection process. 

 

The internship will start on 13th May 2024 and finish on 2nd August 2024. 
 
Responsibilities:

•    Assist with statutory audit preparation and business as usual activities such as 
•    Monthly Indirect Tax submission
•    Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation
•    Monthly Financial close activities
•    Interim and Final Client Assistance Package


What you’ll learn:

•    Effective communication with Business Partners
•    Accounting and reporting requirements for Indirect Tax
•    Hands on experience of financial close activities and deliverables, including financial analysis and management reporting
•    Application of accounting concepts like IFRS15 and IFRS16
•    Exposure to systems like SAP, BPC, Anaplan, COUPA and Blackline
