Project Manager, Business Development

Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the qualitative and quantitative assessment of potential new areas for business, develop sound business plans from strategy, execution to optimization to enhance the operations of our business for improved profitability and growth.  The Project Manager also assume the full functional control of specific projects from start to end, ensuring timely completion, delivery of desired results and within the allocated budget. 

 

Key responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Perform financial and quantitative analysis of opportunities, including financial modeling, valuation analysis and scenario simulations
  • Develop structured, quantitative support using deep-dive research and market intelligence, for convincing presentations on potential projects with stakeholders
  • Executing relevant industry analysis across regions, channels, and competitors

Project Management

  • Drive and lead project management organization across internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate cost planning and reporting, clear and seamless communication
  • Develop a critical path for each project, highlighting key project priorities, key dates, resources requirements and deliverables and to maintain such control documentation on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure strict compliance with all legal requirements associated with business development activities, including commercial contracts, leases

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, preferably in a luxury retail environment
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English with a flair in delivering seamless presentation
  • Ability to  manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Entrepreneurial, with the ability to creatively approach new, original projects
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and legal documents
  • Team player, with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with other teams across diverse functions
  • Highly organized, with a proven ability to handle and meet multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated, independent, and positive, with strong work ethics
