Product Analyst, MarTech & Loyalty

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our DFS Global Technology team. This candidate will work under the direction of the Product Manager to evaluate the business needs and create solutions to enable our product vision. Ideal candidates will possess a balance of technical depth, business acumen, and communication skills. The role involves working collaboratively with different functions within various levels and departments of the organization to deliver on business strategy and outcomes. Candidate should be results-oriented, eager to learn and with a passion for technology.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery workshop to gather requirements, marketing journeys and refine development backlog
- Assist in translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring the appropriate data is captured and passed to correlated systems
- Seek input of user experience and document current processes to determine potential improvements to MarTech or loyalty products
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, development team to drive solution in accordance with application design and acceptance criteria
- Manage dependencies that may cross multiple business functions and/or technology domains and gain alignment on the end to end user testing use cases
- Perform impact assessments, cost-benefit analysis to form solution recommendations
- Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options
- Analyze the capabilities of tools and technologies
- Support business transition and help to establish change
- Write business functional release notes and contribute to deployment plan
- Maintain up to date knowledge base related to application features and processes
- Prepare and publish status reports
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience
- One or more of the following certifications preferred: AGILE, Scrum, PMP, SFMC Administrator, Email Specialist
- Marketing Technology and/or Loyalty domain knowledge
- Understanding basic software and project management life cycle
- Agile working experience is preferred
- Skillsets in requirements analysis, story writing, backlog refinements
- Previous experience with marketing platforms (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience using work management and collaboration tools e.g. Confluence, JIRA
- Excellent communications skills, positive attitude and ability to interact confidently with business users, technical teams and vendors
- Knowledge on the Retail Industry or travel retail industry
- Working experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
- Working experience with Integration middleware ESB, Mulesoft
- Previous experience in China Marketing Ecosystem is preferred but not a must
