Personal Shopper

Job Description

We are looking for a highly-motivated Personal Shopper to provide professional shopping and styling advice to our VIPs. You will be someone energetic and have a unique styling sense. By providing advanced knowledge of DFS’ products, services, and the latest fashion trends, you will be a trusted consultant to our prestigious customers for an unparalleled shopping experience. 

  • Present our products and services to the clients by exercising in-depth knowledge of both the customer and the current product offerings 
  • Provide personalized attention and guidance in regards to products and services that are particularly suited for the client’s needs and desires 
  • Maintain regular communication with VIP client base via to inform them on new merchandise, events and promotions 
  • Assist in the coordination of private viewings, functions, events and other ad-hoc services requested by members 
  • Establish relationships with external partners such as hotels, banks, travel agents, tourism boards in order to acquire new High Value Clients 
  • Organize and participate in all in-store Public Relations and related promotional activities 
  • Provide VIP members with full concierge services, which include transportation, merchandise deliveries, reservation handling and others, some of which may be non-DFS related 

Key Requirements

  • Secondary School or High School Diploma equivalent, preferably specializing in hospitality or service related industry
  • Have VIP serving experience in retail, customer service, hospitality services or luxury brand/boutique 
  • Passionate about fashion and trends in Luxury Retail
  • Innate ability to engage, sell and deliver unparalleled customer service 
  • Resourceful and has a good social network 
  • Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality 
  • Fluency in English language and other language(s) as required by location <<adjust when necessary>>
