Team Lead, Sales - Make Up specialist - La Samaritaine (F/M)

Lead your team of sales consultants and make-up artists to make our customers dream with our range of incredible brands!

 

The Sales Team Leader is the main contact between the Sales Manager, the purchasing team, the brand and the customer, ensuring a consistent customer experience in line with the identity of the Store while boosting sales. He/she supervises the development of a sales team, and promotes the autonomy and versatility of the team to create a luxury service experience for our customers: he/she promotes team spirit and ensures the best sales conditions for the teams.

 

Among your main missions:

Team management

  • Ensure that the team has clear goals and objectives that remain focused on the customer experience and productivity objectives.
  • Supervise the Sales Floor: Ensure there is a high energy and positive experience on the sales floor for staff and customers.
  • Observe, coach and react to what is happening to continuously improve the customer experience and team productivity.
  • Manage the team’s visibility on the sales floor to optimize the number of sales consultants in this space
  • Encourage the team to meet or exceed sales and profitability objectives, while adopting an exemplary role.
  • Develop team members
  • Prepare and participate in annual individual performance reviews by providing relevant and specific feedback.
  • Ensure follow-up of training provided to teams.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of sales consultants.

 

Sales and customer experience.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to align the customer experience with the company’s vision.
  • Contribute to driving sales with passion. Collaborate with the Sales Manager on ways to continuously increase and improve sales key performance indicators.

 

Product Management

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the products and brands in his/her scope, and ensure the same at the level of his/her team.
  • Maintain the presentation of the sales area in accordance with the requirements of the company and the brands.
  • Provide feedback to the Sales Manager to ensure the development of the commercial strategy (promotions, seasonal sales, etc.)
  • Ensure the correct level of stocks

Ideal Candidate

  • Management degree or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Fluent French and English, both spoken and written. A third language is desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Ability to manage in a multicultural context.
  • Proactive and innovative.
  • Has a passion for the brands and products he represents.
