Senior general accountant W/M CDI - La Samaritaine

As part of the project to internalize accounting within our entity and the selective distribution branch of the LVMH group, two positions (creation) are to be filled.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, guarantor of the sincerity of the accounts, you take part in the entire closing process, prepare the annual accounts and participate in quarterly reporting to the LVMH group.

 

 

Your missions are (non-exhaustive list):


-Control of reciprocity of accounts of group companies

-Registration of accounting documents

-Lettering and tallying of accounts

-Monitoring and analysis of balance sheet accounts

-Organization and supervision of actions with a view to meeting closing deadlines

-Edition of general balance statements, balance sheet and operating account

-Entering various transactions

-Participation in the development of quarterly situations, end-of-year work and regulatory reporting

-Preparation of tax returns (VAT, DES, EMBI, IS, CVAE, C3S, etc.)

-Monitoring and management of fixed assets

-Management of relations with external auditors within the aforementioned scope

-Monitoring the evolution of accounting standards and their correct application.

-Active participation in projects related to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and tools, and the implementation of a new ERP.

 

 

Profile :

 

 

-Higher diploma in accounting (DCG/DSCG/DEC)

-Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position (French standards and IFRS are a prerequisite), preferably in an accounting firm and/or company

-Operational English required

-Strong analytical and technical accounting skills

-Autonomous, proactive, organized, detail-oriented and able to work in a team

-Excellent communication skills

-Ability to multitask and prioritize

-Mastery of SAP or similar ERP and PACK Office in particular EXCEL

-Willingness to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment

 

 

A more senior position on a 15-month fixed-term contract is also open, supporting the Accounting Manager who will partially be assigned to IT development projects.
